A Scottsdale customer

“My car was making wierd noises from the transmission. Came in and mark did a fluid flush and it was as good as new! Highly reccomend.”

Why Scottsdale drivers make the trip

Amy's Audi A5: a flush, not a new transmission

Amy brought her 2018 Audi A5 in from Scottsdale because the transmission was making weird noises. We checked it, did a fluid flush, and it was as good as new. That’s why every job starts with finding the exact problem, not quoting the biggest fix.

Sam's Porsche Cayenne: an affordable replacement

Sam’s 2016 Porsche Cayenne wasn’t going into gear. Mark found him an affordable, low-mileage transmission out of another car, and it was as good as new. In Sam’s words:

“My car wasnt going into gear, so mark found me an affourdable low milage transmission out of another car, and it was as good as new!”

Worth the drive, in Mark's words

Mark puts it simply: the drive isn’t very far, and it’s worth it for the peace of mind of knowing your car is getting fixed the right way. Mark and Ken and their team have rebuilt thousands of transmissions.

Imports, heat and transmissions

European and luxury transmissions need the right fluid

Amy drove in from Scottsdale in an Audi and Sam in a Porsche, and many modern transmissions like theirs are picky about fluid. Toyota’s owner’s manual, for example, warns that the wrong automatic transmission fluid can hurt shift quality and ultimately damage the transmission. So we use what your manufacturer specifies, every time. (Your Porsche has expensive taste. We respect that.)

Signs to get it checked

Weird noises, slipping, harsh or delayed shifts and fluid leaks. If you think you have a transmission problem, the check is free.

Fluid service, repair, rebuild or replacement

Sometimes it’s a fluid flush, like Amy’s Audi. Sometimes it’s an affordable low-mileage unit, like Sam’s Porsche. When it’s more, we tell you whether a repair, a rebuild or a replacement makes more sense, with a written estimate first.

Makes we work on

Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Lexus, Toyota, Honda and more, plus domestic cars, trucks, SUVs and diesels. Automatic, manual and CVT.

Questions

Scottsdale transmission questions

Anything not covered here, call the shop on (602) 612-4198.

My transmission is making noises. Does it need replacing?

Not always, so we check it first. Amy from Scottsdale brought in her 2018 Audi A5 with weird noises from the transmission, and a fluid flush fixed it. If it does need a rebuild or replacement, you'll hear that straight, with a written estimate before any work starts.

Do you work on Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Porsche?

Yes. We work on European and Japanese imports as well as domestic cars, trucks and SUVs, including Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche and Lexus. Sam from Scottsdale's 2016 Porsche Cayenne wouldn't go into gear, and Mark found him an affordable, low-mileage transmission out of another car.

Is it worth driving from Scottsdale to your shop?

Mark's answer: the drive isn't very far, and it's worth it for the peace of mind of knowing your car is getting fixed the right way. Take the Loop 101 south to the Loop 202, head west to I-10, and take the 43rd Avenue exit.

Can you tow my car from Scottsdale?

When we do your transmission rebuild or replacement, towing is free up to $100. Call the shop and we'll help arrange it.

Is the work covered by a warranty?

Yes. Our repairs are covered by our 3 years or 36,000 miles warranty on parts and labor, and we honor most extended warranties.
